What is on-page SEO? And when it comes to using on-page SEO?
Just using it in your blog posts isn’t enough.
This means that when it comes to on-page SEO techniques, it is important to use and implement them throughout your website or blog. So, it is not enough to have half the knowledge about SEO to build a successful blogging career.
If you want to get more traffic or visitors from Google and other search engines, you must have complete knowledge about on-page SEO. We all know that we can optimize our blog, website, and blog articles for the “Google search engine” by using on-page SEO optimization techniques.
As a result, there are many opportunities to get more traffic and visitors from search engines. So, let’s know below what is on-page SEO and how we can do blog SEO optimization in any way. In today’s competitive age, it is very difficult to make a career in the blogging profession. Today, people can easily find thousands of information or good content on any subject, topic, or niche on the internet.
In this case, if you do not pay attention to search engine optimization, it will be very difficult for you to get enough traffic or visitors from Google searches. You can only get traffic from Google search by writing a good unique content and using proper SEO and optimization techniques.
Remember, the better you use on-page SEO techniques, the better your blog will get visitors and search engine traffic. The task of on-page SEO is to optimize your blog and blog content for search engines (Google search) in various ways.
All optimization techniques performed in this case are limited to the blog only. This means that SEO techniques that can be used within your own blog or website are called “on-page SEO techniques”.
This allows search engines to better understand your blog’s topic, content, and information. To know what is on-page SEO and different types of SEO, what is SEO, you need to have knowledge about it first.
What is SEO?
SEO is also called search engine optimization.
However, SEO is a process whereby using some optimization techniques on any blog or website, the expected traffic or visitors to your blog from Google or other search engines can be increased.
It means that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of optimizing your blog, website, or blog content so that any search engine can better understand the keywords, topics, or themes of your blog and blog articles.
This allows Google and other search engines to understand when and which keywords and search terms to display your blog content or articles in search engines.
For example,
Let’s say I’m writing an article where I’ve created an entire article on “What is SEO”?
More specifically, in the article, I have targeted the keywords “What is SEO”, “What is SEO”, “SEO Tips”, “SEO English Tutorial” and “On-Page SEO”.
What is keyword research? How to do it
Why is keyword research important when blogging?
Now what I or any blogger would like is that when someone searches on Google for a targeted article topic or keyword (in my case SEO keyword), Google will show them my article written on SEO.
Now, SEO is a process and a means by which we can clearly tell Google or other search engines that “my article is about SEO”.
As a result, in the form of answers to questions about SEO (SEO) or search terms in Google search, articles on our blog written about SEO have a much higher chance of being displayed by Google in the search engine. And as a result, our blog is constantly getting decent organic traffic from Google.
However, remember that if you are not using proper SEO in your blog and blog articles, then Google will not correctly understand what the subject or topic of your article is. Consequently, even if you publish high-quality and unique content/articles on your blog, the chances of getting traffic or visitors from Google searches will be very less.
So, what is SEO and how to do SEO, you should have enough knowledge about this topic if you are thinking about blogging in 2020. So now you understand “how SEO works”.
What are the types of SEO? (Types of SEO)
The types of search engine optimization can be divided into many categories.
For example,
- Technical SEO
- On page SEO
- Content SEO
- Off-page SEO
- Local SEO
- Mobile SEO
- eCommerce
Each type of SEO has its own special features, but as a blogger, you just need to know “On-page SEO” and “off-page SEO”, these two SEO techniques. Because SEO is basically divided into two parts, on-page, and off-page SEO.
And all other types of on-page and off-page SEO will come later. By writing quality and unique blog content and properly optimizing the page for search engines, one can get good traffic from Google searches.
Because the Google search engine pays the most attention to the quality of the articles written on your blog and how people like to read your articles. So knowing what and how to do off-page SEO is beneficial, even if we don’t have to think about it that much. We will learn about off-page SEO in another article.
Note: I pay a lot of attention to on-page SEO optimization in the articles I write on my blog, which is why my blog gets traffic from search engines.
Other than that, I have never done or felt the need for off-page SEO. So based on my own experience, I told you that in 2020 “off-page SEO is not that important”.
How to do SEO on a blog?
Use SEO in your blog posts
About 5 years ago, when we say On-Page SEO or simply SEO, we only mean “strong use of keywords in blog articles”.
However, we could easily signal Google searches with unlimited keywords in blog articles and there would be no need to do anything else. But as technology advances, search engine bots are getting better.
As a result, currently, in 2020, it is not possible to do SEO with only unlimited use of keywords in blog articles. This is called “keyword optimization” or “keyword stuffing”.
Keywords are still important in articles, however, if you use a keyword an unlimited number of times, Google will penalize your blog after some time (about 1-2 months), even if it gets you traffic.
As a result, your articles optimized for multiple keywords will no longer appear in Google searches. so,
So, in today’s On-Page SEO, keywords related to the topic of the blog article should be used naturally in limited quantities and in some crucial places.
It is called “SEO Friendly Article”.
Apart from that, there are many other factors and techniques that you need to pay more attention to when it comes to “on-page SEO”.
1. Optimizing content for search intent
On-page SEO optimization means creating “SEO-friendly articles”.
In 90% of articles on the internet, you will find that on-page SEO means signaling to Google with targeted keywords in the article.
However, this process used to work, but now it doesn’t.
Hi, now google search engine bots (search engine bots) are getting more advanced and they can easily understand what you have written articles about.
So just using multiple keywords in your blog articles will not work.
The user (user) wants to know information through Google search, you should meditate on it and write articles accordingly.
So what to do? How to write “SEO Friendly Articles”?
First, you should use different keywords, words, phrases, and search terms related to the topic of your blog article.
I mean, suppose I am writing an article on “What is SEO in Bangla”.
Now, if I try to create an “SEO article” simply by using the keyword or phrase “What is SEO in Bangla” in different places of the article, then this is the worst mistake in 2020.
However, Google considers these types of articles to be “low-quality” and “over-optimized content”.
As a result, there is no possibility of getting any Google search traffic or visitors to your blog in the future.
Now listen to how I optimize my written articles for SEO.
If I am writing an article about “What is SEO”, then instead of using the keyword “What is SEO” over and over again, I use some words or phrases related to my main keyword in the article.
For example, “What is SEO”, “Bangla SEO Tutorial”, “What is On-Page SEO”, “How to do SEO”, “Search Engine Optimization”, “SEO Tips”, “Bangla SEO Course” and so on. Use keywords.
So if you use some “related keywords” combined with “targeted keywords” in the articles written on your blog, you will get 3 very big profits.
In this, the Google search engines can easily understand the subject or topic of your written article.
Because I have used different SEO-related keywords in my article, so the chances of my article ranking on different SEO topics in Google searches will increase.
In this new SEO process, we will not reuse the keyword. So there will never be fear of keyword optimization in the article and Google will never penalize your blog.
2. Improve website loading speed
I know very well that about 80% of you bloggers do not worry about the speed of loading pages on the website.
Have you ever clicked on a website link from Google search results that took a long time to load or open?
If you’re like me, you may also have hit the back button on your mobile when visiting a slow-loading website like this and visited a different result or website.
And Google knows very well that slow-loading websites are not good for anyone.
Because when a website takes a lot of time to open, this situation is very annoying for everyone.
Therefore, the page loading speed of a website is now considered a very important ranking factor in Google.
Additionally, “page speed” is considered a very important and important part of on-page SEO.
So first check your blog or website loading speed.
You can use “Google page speed insights”, “tools. Pingdom” and “gtmetrix” to check the page loading speed of your blog or website.
Keep your website loading speed high.
As you can see above, checking my site’s page load speed using gtmetrix showed the “full load time” as 2.3 seconds.
This means that my website takes 2-3 seconds to fully load in any web browser.
However, this loading speed cannot be called bad.
If your blog’s loading speed is more than 3 seconds, you need to work on your “page loading speed”.
Because as I said earlier, Google never likes slow websites.
And so, as a slow-loading website, the chances of getting traffic or visitors from Google will decrease by 75%.
Moreover, even if your content or article appears on the first page of Google search results, 80% of visitors will immediately get bored and leave your website due to the long time it takes to open the website.
How to get ideas for new blog articles?
How to make a website load faster?
You can instantly speed up the page loading speed of your blog or website.
However, for this, you need to use some speed optimization techniques.
Each image needs to be compressed before uploading images to blog articles. You can use the website “compressjpeg.com” for this.
Remember that the size of images uploaded to a blog or website should not exceed 50 kb. Reduce the size of the image as much as possible and upload it to the blog.
Use hosting from a good cloud web hosting company.
The title should be used first in the article.
Then, use the keyword in the Permalink URL of the article.
Now, in the first paragraph of the article, you should write your target keyword or phrase one to two times.
And after that, it is important to use targeted keywords once or twice in the H2, H3, and H4 tags used in the article.
Thus, by using focused keywords in certain places of your article, you can easily explain your content to the Google search engine.
And as a result, your content will be much better optimized for search engines.
3. Use alt tags for images
Google does not automatically understand the images we upload to blogs or blog articles.
So, we can use the “alt tag” to tell Google about the images used in our article.
This makes it easy for Google and other search engines to understand what the image is about and thus increases the chances of getting traffic from Google Image Search.
In terms of on-page SEO optimization, the use of alt tags in images is very important.
And, we can better SEO optimize the content by using our targeted focused keywords instead of these image alt tags/text.
4. Simple & readable content
Remember, the quality of content and articles are written on your blog should be of the best quality.
Today, the internet has thousands of content or information on any topic.
So, if your articles are difficult to read or understand, hopefully, the blog visitors will return within seconds.
As a result, a high bounce rate will affect your blog.
And, it’s bad for SEO.
So, write your blog content in a simple and straightforward manner so that JK can read it very easily.
Also, write the article in small paragraphs.
In this, visitors will be very comfortable reading one and a half texts.
Give complete information related to the work and topic in your articles.
The more time your visitors read your article, the higher the bounce rate will be and the better your article’s ranking will be in the Google search engine.
So, always write blog articles in this way so that the visitors or readers get a lot of pleasure from reading your content and they do not have any difficulty in reading your writings.
What is a micro niche blog?
5. Use the internal linking technique
You must have seen some links in each of my articles.
Hey, this article has it too.
Thus, while writing articles on your blog, the process of providing links to other articles related to the topic or keywords of your article is called “internal linking of articles”.
And These types of links in the blog article are called “internal links” (internal links).
For example,
If I am writing an article about “blogging”, then I can provide links to my other articles written about blogging in that article.
In this, your blog visitors will be able to take a lot of knowledge on any particular topic and the “bounce rate” of your blog will decrease.
Interlinking articles like this is very profitable in terms of SEO.
In this, the SEO link juice passes between the article pages inside your blog and internal backlinks are created.
This technique of on-page SEO is very important if you want to rank your article pages well on Google.
Then you understand, “what is the internal link” and how to do it.
6. Regularly post articles
You should also keep in mind how many articles you are publishing on your blog in a month.
Google likes blogs that publish high-quality articles on a regular basis.
So, try to publish at least 3 good articles per week on your blog.
Moreover, those blogs that do not publish regular articles, say only 2 to 3 articles a month, those blogs are of low quality in the eyes of Google.
And, much less updated blogs are not ranked well by Google in its SERPs.
So, if you want to get a good amount of traffic or visitors from Google Search Engine, then you must publish new content regularly on your blogs.
When it comes to on-page SEO, it’s important to pay attention to this aspect.
