Pixel Game Maker MV Fitgirl

Hey there! If you’re reading this, you’re probably interested in learning how to make games with Pixel Game Maker MV Fitgirl. This is a great engine for making 2D games, and with a little bit of practice, you can make some really amazing games.

In this blog post, I’m going to go over some of the basics of using Pixel Game Maker MV, and show you how to make a simple platformer game. I’ll also give you some tips on how to get the most out of the engine, and how to make your games look even better.

So, without further ado, let’s get started!

The first thing you need to do when making a game in Pixel Game Maker MV is to choose a template. There are a few different templates to choose from, but for this tutorial, we’re going to use the “Platformer” template.

Once you’ve chosen your template, you’ll be taken to the “Stage” editor. This is where you’ll design the levels for your game. You can add platforms, enemies, and other objects to your levels here.

For our platformer game, we’re going to need a few things:

– A start point for our player

– Some platforms for our players to walk on

– An exit point for our players to reach

Let’s start by adding a start point for our player. To do this, go to the “Objects” tab on the left side of the screen, and then drag the “Player Start” object onto the stage.

Now that we have a start point for our player, let’s add some platforms. Go to the “Objects” tab again, and this time drag the “Platform” object onto the stage.

You can move and resize the platform however you want. I’m going to put mine near the start point, so our player has somewhere to walk to.

Repeat this process until you have a few platforms for your player to walk on. Once you’re happy with your level, it’s time to add an exit point.

To do this, go to the “Objects” tab, and drag the “Exit” object onto the stage. You can place this wherever you want, but I’m going to put mine at the end of the level, so our player knows where to go.

Now that we have our level designed, it’s time to add some gameplay. Go to the “Event” tab on the left side of the screen, and then click the “Add Event” button.

This will bring up the “Event Editor” window. Here, you can choose what kind of event you want to add. For our platformer game, we’re going to need a “Collision Event” between our players and the platforms.

To do this, select “Collision Event” from the “Event Type” drop-down menu, and then click the “Create” button.

This will add a new “Collision Event” to our game. In the “Event Editor” window, you can now see that there are two objects involved in this event: our player, and the platform.

We want our players to be able to walk on the platform, so we need to add some code to make that happen. Click on the “Code” tab in the “Event Editor” window, and then type the following code:

player.x += platform.x;

This code will make it so that our player’s x-coordinate is equal to the platform’s x-coordinate. This will make it look like our player is walking on the platform.

Now, let’s test our game. Click the “Play” button at the top of the screen, and then use the arrow keys to move your player around.

If everything is working properly, you should be able to walk on the platforms and reach the exit. Congratulations, you’ve just made your first Pixel Game Maker MV game!

There’s a lot more you can do with the engine, but this should be enough to get you started. If you want to learn more, be sure to check out the official documentation, or some of the other tutorials on this site.
